Kantar Talks with Crozier for Chairman Slot

Adam Crozier

Kantar is negotiating with Adam Crozier, former CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi and UK’s ITV television operator, to take over the chairman slot.

The London Times, which reported the talks, stresses that a deal is not imminent.

Management consultant Bain Capital paid $4B to WPP last year for a 60 percent stake in Kantar. It made the approach to Crozier, who also ran the Royal Mail and Football Assn.

Ian Griffiths, who was chief operating officer & chief financial officer of ITV, joined Kantar on Jan. 16 in as CFO.

CEO Eric Salama has announced his plans to step down in 2020 in the aftermath of a stabbing attack in London last year. He will transition to a non-executive director and consultant role.

Kantar has about 30,000 employees and bills itself as the world’s leading data, insights and consulting company.
