ITV star Kate Garraway has thanked Prince Charles for the unexpected help he offered her last year.
The ITV Good Morning Britain star has shared the identity of the mystery royal who reached out.
Kate has shared how the Prince of Charles supporter her after her husband Derek Draper’s illness.

Prince Charles contacted Kate regularly after Derek’s hospitalisation.
Speaking to Charles during the event at St James’s Palace, Kate Garraway said: “And you might not remember but you were very kind to me because my husband got very sick with Covid after the last Prince’s Trust awards.
“You wrote to me and gave me help, so thank you very much… and he did improve.”
In her book, the ITV Good Morning Britain television presenter had written: “One day I received a letter from a member of the Royal Family, offering the services of a Royal physician.
“How lovely, I thought, although it seemed utterly surreal.”

The Good Morning Britain host had previously said a member of the royal family had sent her a letter that included an offer of help from a royal physician for her husband.
Charles previously had a brush with Covid himself, as did Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
Prince William also revealed he had tested positive towards the start of the pandemic.
