The Duchess of Cambridge revealed Princess Charlotte is ‘pretty good’ with heat as she discussed the little royal’s fiery taste in food yesterday.

Kate Middleton, 37, made the confession while visiting the Aga Khan centre in London yesterday, and revealed all about her family’s preference for spice.

Speaking to the 2017 winner of MasterChef, Dr Mahmood Ahmed, the mother-of-three admitted it’s ‘hard’ to cook curry for everyone in the family, because they all enjoy a different level of spice. 

She admitted to a liking for ‘quite hot’ curry and added that Princess Charlotte, four,  is also ‘pretty good’ with heat.

During the visit, which came ahead of the couple’s upcoming royal tour of Pakistan, Kate said: ‘It’s so hard cooking curry in the family, the children have a portion with no spice. 

Referring to William, she said: ‘Yours is medium, and I quite like it hot. Still, Charlotte is pretty good with heat. 

The Duke chimed in to agree that he likes the aroma of spices, but doesn’t like his curries too fiery. 

‘Me and heat not so good,’ he said. ‘I love spice but not heat.’

Referring to the upcoming official visit, the duke appeared to be looking forward to eating the local cuisine – saying he will need to bring ‘a bigger suit’ with a ‘bit of expansion’ for the trip.  

Yesterday’s event saw the couple are hosted by the Aga Khan, 82, at an event to showcase modern Pakistani culture ahead of their official visit to the country later this month. 

The duke and duchess are due to carry out a royal tour of Pakistan from October 14 to 18.
