The Princess of Wales, who skipped the second day of the Royal Ascot due to her cancer recovery, is working round the clock behind the scenes.
A source tells Daily Mail: “She’s quite strict now at working out what she needs to be at and what she doesn’t,’ a source says.
“And people forget that even if they aren’t seeing her in public, she is very hands-on behind the scenes with the team in the office. She has her own projects to pursue, such as her early years initiative. That’s a lifelong commitment for HRH.”
This comes as Kate reveals how she is gradually working towards a new normal.
The Princess said: “As anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty.”
