Kate Middleton is the top royal when it comes to fashion.

The Duchess of Cambridge, wife of Prince William, was crowned the royal family’s top fashion icon, according to research done by the Fashion Retail Academy in England.

Kate, 38, racked up 47.8% of the vote as the top trendsetter, more than double the 20.1% received by new British Columbia resident Meghan Markle, the 38-year-old Duchess of Sussex. Queen Elizabeth, the matriarch of the royal family, wound up third in voting, with a whopping 9.8%.

“Meghan may have commanded more column inches recently but it is Kate who has emerged as the royal leading the fashion stakes by a country mile,” Lee Lucas, CEO of the Fashion Retail Academy, said, according to the Daily Mail.

“In addition to well-known designers, both duchesses have been seen wearing high street names, such as Zara, Topshop and Marks & Spencer, which immediately makes them more relatable to the British public and their fashion choices more accessible. The sheer influence they have is apparent when photos emerge of them wearing items from high street retailers, which then sell out in minutes.”

Among the royal men, Prince Harry topped the poll with 14% of the vote, followed by his older brother, Prince William, who received 11% of the vote.

Data compiled by the Fashion Retail Academy, one of the U.K.’s top fashion schools, shows that around 20% of Brits are influenced by royal style.
