‘Kind and wonderful’ woman found dead in Wiltshire home named and pictured

A 13-year-old girl arrested after the death has since been released on bail

A Wiltshire woman who was found dead in her home has been named and pictured following her death. The Mirror reported her name was Sarah Forrester who was in her early 50s.

Those close to her have praised her as a “a wonderfully kind, big-hearted woman”. A 13-year-old girl was arrested after Ms Forrester’s death but she has since been released on bail.

Police were called to the home in Moredon, Swindon at around 7pm on Friday (November 21) after reports of a disorder. Ms Forrester who lived at the property died at the scene according to Wiltshire Police.

The teenager was then arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into police custody for questioning, but has since been bailed while enquiries continue.

Ms Forrester’s next-door neighbour, Daniella Silva, 29, told The Sun: “Sarah was a wonderfully kind, big-hearted woman.”

Wiltshire Police have warned locals that an increased police presence remains in the area today while an investigation into the woman’s death continues. The force said in a statement: “There is no wider risk to the public and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.

“As this is a live investigation, please refrain from speculating online as this could prejudice the ongoing case. We’d encourage anyone with concerns to speak with their local Neighbourhood Policing Team, either by emailing or approaching our officers in person.”
