King and Queen update Royal Warrants

King Charles III and Queen Camilla have issued fresh Royal Warrants to industry suppliers, while a host of firms that held warrants issued by the late Queen Elizabeth II will have to wait a bit longer before they know the outcome of the royal review.

This month the King and HM The Queen have granted their first Royal Warrants of Appointment since the Coronation last year.

The first batch of warrants are based on those previously held by the King when he was the Prince of Wales.

The new list of Companies by Appointment to His Majesty the King includes:

  • Barnard & Westwood, London, printers and bookbinders
  • Metro Imaging, London, photographic printer and supplier
  • Mount Street Printers & Stationers, London, printers
  • Office Depot UK & Ireland, supplier of stationery, furniture and printed stationery
  • Summerhill Packaging, South Staffordshire, supplier of presentation boxes
  • The Wren Press, London, printers and stationers

Fine art photographers AC London (Colour) of London and photographer Huge Burnand Photography are also on the King’s list of appointments, as is bookseller Hatchards.

In addition, stationery and office equipment supplier Frank Smythson of London joins the new list of Companies by Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen.

The Royal Warrant Holders Association explained that companies that held a single Queen Elizabeth II Royal Warrant are being reviewed for new Royal Warrants “and successful applicants will be informed later in the year”.

That list includes a number of printing-related companies including Impress Print Services, Blissetts Bookbinders, Service Graphics, Stephen Austin & Sons and Flying Colours Flagmakers.
