Laclede Mayor Makes Post Office Plea

In the September 2, 2011 edition of the LCL, we featured the plight of the rural post office, and the threat of closure from the United States Postal Service (USPS).  The post offices in Laclede and Purdin were threatened in Linn County, and the branches in Sumner and Wheeling were also under threat of closing.
