Lady Colin Campbell has warned Meghan she can’t ‘hustle her way to the top’ as she did when she was an actress.
The royal biographer, 69, says she is ‘rooting’ for the Duchess, but has an ‘awful feeling’ about her future if she doesn’t change her ways.
She told Good Morning Britain Meghan, 38, needs to differentiate between how to behave as a celebrity and a member of the royal family.

Lady Colin said: ‘I have an awful feeling that Meghan needs to understand things she doesn’t yet understand.
‘Like there is a massive difference between being a celebrity, hustling your way from the bottom to the top, and she was a very proud hustler.
‘She used to use the word hustle for herself and her first husband, very proudly.’
‘Being a royal; you don’t hustle, the values, embodiment is completely different, she’s sorted, she’s got it, I think she needs to now embrace it and understand it’s a new game in town.’

Asked by hosts Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard how she should change her behaviour, she replied: ‘She’s an actress, she needs to come up with a new act!.’
Yesterday the Duchess celebrated her 38th birthday with husband Prince Harry posting a heartfelt message on their joint Instagram page.
Uploading a picture of Meghan in Tonga from their first international tour together in October, he wrote: ‘Happy Birthday to my amazing wife. Thank you for joining me on this adventure! – Love, H.’
Kate Middleton and Prince William were quick to share a birthday post sending their best wishes to the Duchess, writing: ‘Wishing a very happy birthday to The Duchess of Sussex today!’
