Lady Louise Windsor and father go horse riding – while Prince Andrew also takes to the saddle

Lady Louise Windsor and her father Prince Edward braved the chilly weather today and went horse riding together near Windsor Castle.

The pair were spotted riding side by side with Lady Louise, the Queen’s youngest granddaughter, taking the saddle of a white horse and the Earl of Wessex seated on a brown horse.

The father and daughter duo matched in barbour jackets, along with black boots and safety helmets.

Prince Andrew also wrapped up warm this morning as he went horse riding around the grounds of Windsor Castle.

The Duke of York, 60, was seen swapping his Range Rover for a brown horse as he drove from the Royal Lodge to the castle.

He wore a blue waterproof coat, gloves and black boots, along with a safety helmet as he was accompanied by a member of staff.

Prince Andrew was joined by another member of staff as he drove his Range Rover from the Royal Lodge, his official residence, to the castle’s grounds.

It follows a second woman claiming earlier this week that Prince Andrew allowed her to sit on the Queen’s throne at Buckingham Palace.

She was also allegedly taken to the balcony and invited to wave to imaginary crowds – one of Andrew’s ‘signature moves’ with women, according to the Daily Beast.

The Sun on Sunday reported claims that Andrew dated the model Caprice and also let her sit on the throne at Buckingham Palace during one of their dates.

The claims from the second woman were first reported last year, but have re-emerged more prominently this week following the allegations regarding Caprice.

The 60-year-old Duke is said to have met the 48-year-old Dancing on Ice star at a dinner party and the pair dated for two months in 2000.

On one of the dates he took her to Buckingham Palace and let her take a decorative bowl, according to the newspaper.

A source close to Caprice told The Sun: ‘As an American, she was thoroughly entertained at the notion he was a part of the Royal Family. He took her to Buckingham Palace twice, and on one occasion she sat on the Queen’s throne.

‘She spotted a bowl she liked and asked Andrew if she could steal it and post it to her mum. She claims that he let her, and her mum loved it.’

The pair were friends for two months and were said to have gone on ‘platonic’ dates, including two at the Palace.

He allegedly let her into the Throne Room where the monarch’s Chair of State and the Coronation chairs of her father King George VI, Queen Mary and Queen Victoria, are kept.

Members of the Royal Family are allowed to invite guests to the Palace, but it is protocol to notify staff before showing them around.

Caprice, who is originally from California but lives in London, ended their friendship when she started being linked to the Prince in the press.

She set him up with Ms Martell and the pair went on to have a 10-year relationship.
