The Royal Windermere Yacht Club at Fallbarrow Road is hosting an open day on Sunday, July 20, with timed slots available for booking between 10.30am and 3.30pm.
Drinks will be on sale in the bar between noon and 7pm and light lunches can be purchased from the restaurant between noon and 2pm with tea and coffee available all day.

A spokesperson said: “We invite you to come and look at what the yacht club can offer you.
“Admire the views from the club balcony, have a go at sailing in the safe experienced hands of an experienced sailor, find out about our sailing courses for a range of abilities and ages, and discuss membership options and how to access sailing on Lake Windermere.”
