Firefighters are in attendance to a large barn fire in Llanrhydd, Ruthin where hay bales have caught fire.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the incident on social media, where they explained that crews are expected to remain at the scene overnight.
A spokesperson said: “We are currently in attendance to a large barn fire in the Llanrhydd area of Ruthin, where approximately 300 bales of hay have caught fire.
“Four appliances were called to the scene shortly before 5.50pm today, and crews are expected to be in attendance overnight.
“We are asking people to avoid the area while crews tackle the blaze.
“Thank you for your assistance.”
A spokesperson for North Wales Police has said: “Our colleagues at North Wales Fire and Rescue Service are currently tackling a large fire in the Ruthin area.
“People are advised to avoid the area while crews tackle the blaze.”
