Late-night Epsom ‘altercation’ sees Surrey Police called to high street and man hospitalised

A man has been taken to hospital with head injuries after an altercation in Epsom. Surrey Police officers were called to the high street, between the junctions for Waterloo Road and Church Street, at about 11.15pm on Friday (May 10).

An investigation has been launched and police are now looking for witnesses. A police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Epsom on Friday evening (May 10).

“Officers were called to High Street in Epsom, between the junctions for Waterloo Road and Church Street, at around 11.15pm after receiving reports of an altercation between two men. One man has been taken to hospital with injuries to his head.
