Lecompton residents concerned for post office

The Lawrence Journal-World reports (http://bit.ly/KtVk1k ) that Mayor Sandy Jacquot encouraged the standing-room-only crowd Saturday to write the U.S. Postal Service and state government officials. Residents are concerned that if the town of about 625 residents loses its post office, it may also lose its zip code, meaning mail would likely be addressed to Perry.
