Dungeons & Dragons’ plans for San Diego Comic-Con have been shared, including mention of LEGO ahead of the Collectible Minifigures series.
The team at Wizards of the Coast have outlined the plans and schedule for Dungeons & Dragons at San Diego Comic-Con between July 24 and 28. As well as the chance to play the game, live streams and celebrations of the game’s 50th anniversary, the Hasbro booth is confirmed to feature products from their partners.
Named partners include the likes of Royal Mail, Super7 and The LEGO Group. We’d note the LEGO Group just so happens to have a Dungeons & Dragons Collectible Minifigures series on the way in September following a massive LEGO Ideas model earlier this year. Currently, the only minifigures you can pick up based on the game are in the £314.99 / $359.99 / €359.99 set.
While this could be a chance to showcase 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale further, the crowd that San Diego Comic-Con is likely to draw is one that would almost certainly be interested in the upcoming LEGO Dungeons & Dragons Collectible Minifigures series.
LEGO set and minifigure reveals at San Diego Comic-Con are all too common but by no means guaranteed and we’d advise going into this event with an appropriate level of caution. The LEGO representation at the Hasbro Booth may be limited to 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale and possibly 5008325 Mimic Dice Box.
Should that be the case, at least we won’t have too much longer to wait until some more affordable Dungeons & Dragons minifigures will be hitting shelves. Either way, with Marvel Studios news and a NINJAGO panel, San Diego Comic-Con 2024 should be an interesting event later this month.
