So, the millage for the City Hall renovation failed. Imagine that. We have crumbling streets, a dwindling police force and Darnell Earley wants to spend $7 million to renovate a building that is well past its useful life. I know several people say how historically significant the building is. That may be true, but it still does not justify spending that kind of money when there are alternatives.
