LETTER: Royal Mail ‘failure’ sees wait for post go on

This last week we have had only two mail deliveries. I was of the understanding that “in the UK, Royal Mail is legally required to deliver mail to all 32 million addresses in the country six days a week, Monday to Saturday, excluding bank holidays” and that “Royal Mail delivers mail by 3pm in towns and cities and by 4pm in rural areas. First class letters are delivered one day after they are dispatched, and second class letters are delivered two days after”.

If this is a legal requirement but is not happening, what redress do we have against Royal Mail for its failure to meet these requirements?
