LETTER: Royal Mail took 14 days to deliver letter in Tadley

I’ve another friend that lives near Abingdon, about 40 miles from Basingstoke. Royal Mail claim that they don’t hold onto mail at the sorting office in Basingstoke!

So why, did it take FOURTEEN days for a letter to be delivered from Abingdon via Basingstoke to Tadley?

Was it carried by an 80-year-old man on a bicycle?
