Police have closed Anlaby Road after two cyclists were hit by two separate vehicles near Hull Royal Infirmary.
The accident is believed to have taken place just after 6pm on Monday, October 19, close to the Anlaby Road flyover.
Officers are at the scene and have put road closures in place, which are affecting the stretch of road between Rawlings Way and Walton Street.
Police have advised people in the area to take care while travelling nearby.
An eye-witness has told Hull Live that they saw two young lads on bicycles ride out into the road when each one was hit by a vehicle.
A badly damaged hatchback could be seen at the scene in the middle of the road which had been cordoned-off by police.
One badly damaged bicycle could also be seen at the side of the road.
A Humberside Police spokeswoman confirmed that officers had been called to the incident at 6.10pm.
She said police attended immediately alongside paramedics and that the road remained closed at 7pm.
It is not yet known how many vehicles are involved in the crash or if there have been any injuries. Hull Live have contacted Humberside Police for further information.
