Hundreds of homes were without electricity around Winchcombe after a fault with power lines, National Grid said.
The incident was reported at 2.37pm today and by 2.40pm an estimated 750 homes north east of Cheltenham were affected.
National Grid said that there was a fault on the high voltage power lines and that repairs were deemed a “priority” by the agency.
At present, the estimated restoration time is 4.45pm today [December 20]
National Grid stated that its engineers were en route to the scene of the fault at 2:44 p.m.
As of 3.44pm, 680 proprties had power restored, with 70 still off supply.
