It is generating billions of pounds in sales in China and some British companies including Burberry have sold their products to Chinese customers using the platforms.
Amazon has introduced Amazon Live, a livestream shopping arm, in the United States and Royal Mail says it has helped more than 150 British brands to sell to Chinese customers through its Tmall online marketplace. Two startups are testing the new software in the UK and the company bringing livestream shopping to the US plans to expand to Britain by early next year.
