Llandysul mail deliveries suspended after postman dog attack

A postman who was working on behalf of the Llandysul Royal Mail Delivery Office was allegedly attacked by a dog while making a delivery.

The incident happened on Wednesday, August 13.

A Royal Mail spokesperson said: “Deliveries have been suspended to relevant addresses while we carry out further enquiries.

This is a temporary measure. We take dog attacks extremely seriously and will take all necessary steps to ensure the safety of our colleagues.”

Dyfed-Powys Police has been contacted for comment.
