Local authority snaps up Westbury warehouse

A large detached warehouse unit on a Westbury business park has been sold to Wiltshire Council.

Unit 1, Hawksworth Park on Northacre Industrial Park, in was sold by property consultancy Myddelton & Major.  Wiltshire Council was represented by BNP Real Estate.

The property comprises 16,572 sq ft with a good size enclosed yard.

Myddelton & Major partner Philip Holford said: “Hawksworth is a well-managed business park, popular with corporate occupiers and this warehouse only became available due to a previous relocation.

“I was pleased to facilitate the sale to the council, who had an urgent need to relocate an existing service within the county.”

The unit is arranged as a 12,716 sq ft warehouse with ground floor office, canteen and toilets plus a 3,856 sq ft mezzanine floor providing additional storage space.

Occupiers at Northacre include Westbury Dairies, Royal Mail, ALH Systems, Tech Prep, Hills Group and Smart Fleet Solutions.
