There was some local disruption when poor weather conditions affected parts of the network.
As previously reported in the Times, there were yellow warnings for wind, rain, snow and ice in Scotland at the start of January.
However, the Royal Mail has ensured customers that deliveries have continued and that the situation is being monitored.
A Royal Mail spokesperson said: “Earlier this month, periods of severe weather affected parts of the network and led to some local disruption, including in and around Lochgelly.
“We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused and deliveries have continued. Where short-term issues have occurred, managers are monitoring performance closely to ensure regular service.”
