Lucy Beaumont delivers this stand-up set as if she’d just walked into your house and has something bad to tell you, but can’t quite figure out whether or not you’re ready to hear it. Yet, despite that tension, what follows is densely packed comedy of the gently amusing variety, in a set replete with observations about life, parenting and many, many stories of personal embarrassment.
