In her first role within the charity sector, Sonia Sudhakar is on a mission to drive Macmillan’s impact, income and connection with marginalised communities.
Macmillan Cancer Support’s pursuit for relevance post-pandemic has led the charity to expand its content and messaging and, most recently, appoint its first chief engagement officer.
Appointed in October, former Royal Mail marketing director Sonia Sudhakar is on a mission to make the charity accessible to marginalised communities, while also increasing general awareness of its services.
“It’s quite an unusual one because it includes both impact and income”, says Sudhakar of the role.
