A MAN has been arrested after he was allegedly caught driving under the influence of drugs near Drumchapel.
Officers from Police Scotland’s Road Policing Unit in Glasgow stopped the motorist on the A82 (Great Western Road) on Friday (August 26) after he was reportedly observed speeding.
Cops said that the driver was allegedly found to have cannabis in his vehicle.
A drug wipe test was then carried out at the roadside and the motorist reportedly failed.
Police confirmed he was arrested and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with these alleged offences.
