Man in court over criminal damage to 37 postboxes

Police say suspect charged after reports of damage to postboxes involving the use of spray paint

A man has appeared before a Kent court in connection with damage to 37 postboxes in the Dartford area.

Danny Whiskin, 33, is charged with criminal damage following the incidents from 31 January to 9 March, Kent Police said.

Police received reports of “multiple postboxes” being damaged involving “the use of spray paint”.

Mr Whiskin, of Chaucer Way, Dartford, was initially arrested on 13 February and bailed pending further enquiries.

He was arrested again on 9 March following another incident.

He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court earlier and is next due to appear at the same court on 31 May.
