Martin Lewis’ MSE shares Wednesday deadline with all UK parents | UK | News

Money Saving Expert (MSE), which was founded by Martin Lewis, has issued a countdown warning to parents on social media, reminding them that they must act within days.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the experts stressed the impending deadline: “It’s your last chance to get a FREE letter from Father Christmas!

“Santa’s elves at the Royal Mail can help you out, but he’ll need to have received your letter by Wednesday 10 December.”

If you want to send your list, or a message to Santa, you can send it to:

  • Santa/Father Christmas, Santa’s Grotto, Reindeerland, XM4 5HQ
  • Or in Welsh: Sion Corn, Ogof Sion Corn, Gwlad Y Ceirw, XM4 5HQ

Braille and BSL replies can be arranged by emailing santamail@royalmail.com

On its website, MoneySavingExpert reminds people that this deadline is Royal Mail’s and that the earlier you send it, the better.

Whilst it’s said to be ‘free’, MSE remind parents: “Technically, it isn’t 100% free as you’ll need to post your letter to Santa with a stamp (£1.70 first-class, 87p second). Remember to include a full name and address, so Santa knows where to send his reply.”

The warning also noted that a reply is not guaranteed, even for submissions made early. As an alternative, or if you can’t wait for a response, you can download a letter instead.
