Mayor, Council begin fight to save downtown Danbury Post Office

DANBURY — Mayor Mark Boughton is asking the city’s congressional delegation to support him in a fight to maintain the post office on Main Street. Boughton will introduce a resolution at the City Council meeting Tuesday that asks the U.S. Postal Service to keep the downtown post office open.
