Meghan Markle ‘is writing her memoirs’ and will document the details of her life in a ‘money-spinning tell-all book’, a royal author has claimed.

Royal expert Tom Bower, who penned Revenge: Meghan and Harry and the war between the Windsors, revealed the news on the Duchess’s next career move.

He told GBNews: ‘My information is that she is writing her memoirs and it will be a huge money-spinner.’

It comes after her husband’s bombshell memoir Spare was released in January, and more recently his Netflix documentary Heart of Invictus.

The Duchess of Sussex last night joined Harry at this year’s Invictus Games in Dusseldorf a day late.

She told the audience she had to spend time with Archie and Lilibet – buying them milkshakes and taking the eldest on the school run before leaving for Germany.

But in the interview about her memoir, Mr Bower also blasted Ms Markle’s reasoning for being late for the event as ‘ludicrous’.

The author even made unfounded claims that Harry and Meghan’s trip to see Beyoncé was ‘absolute media manipulation’ and ‘clearly all set up to film her hugging Harry.’

Hailing the games as an ‘amazing event’, the Duchess joked with the audience last night that she had run slightly late. She said she would like to bring her children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to the Games one day.

And more recently, Harry’s new Netflix documentary Heart of Invictus was released last month with audiences taking to social media to praise it for bringing the personal stories of the athletes to light.

Filmmakers followed wounded veterans from Britain, the USA, South Korea, Denmark and Ukraine and revealed their motivations for taking part as well as how they got on in the games themselves.

It is the Sussexes second production as part of their £80million deal with Netflix, after releasing the controversial docu-series Harry & Meghan last year, which saw them launch several broadsides at Harry’s family as well as give their views on Megxit.

However while the show has received positive ratings from the critics, it’s understood that the series has failed to impress the viewers at home.

Described as having ‘flopped’, the documentary reportedly failed to hit Netflix’s Top 10 streaming charts in both the UK and US in the week following its release.
