The third image in the series is the only one to feature Prince William in the entire collection. It sees the brothers back in 2000 on the 100th birthday celebrations of the Queen Mother. Celebrity psychologist Jo Hemmings was surprised at Meghan’s choice of this picture.
She believes the Duchess used the photograph to make a “curated message” that has come over “loud and clear”.
Ms Hemmings explained: “It doesn’t paint William in the best light because there are loads of pictures of them being very brotherly together and that isn’t one of them.
“Harry looks pretty disgruntled with William, he looks like he’s cajoling him a bit.”
She added: “Harry looks very solemn. It looks like he’s perhaps being teased by his older brother and not liking it much. He’s staring straight ahead, obviously irritated by William.”
The psychologist went on to describe the image of the brothers as an “odd” choice.
Ms Hemming added: “There are millions of photos to choose from where they look like they’ve got that solid camaraderie and this one doesn’t show that” she remarks.
“It might reflect their relationship now, but it certainly didn’t reflect their relationship then.”
This follows rumours of a strong rift between the two brothers, which could be reflected in Meghan’s choice of pictures.

Ms Junor said as Prince Harry looks distant from the public, his relationship with his brother William also seems in danger.
She said: “How desperately sad it is to see these two families, the Cambridges and the Sussexes, pitted against one another.
“Even allowing for some media hype, there is clearly something awry with the once ‘Fab Four’.
“William and Harry were once so close: friends, allies, brothers, always teasing; so obviously happy in each other’s company. Kate seemed to fit into the relationship seamlessly.
She added: “They had each other’s backs and there was every expectation they always would have.”
“It would be nothing short of a tragedy if that bond between ‘Diana’s boys’ was to fall apart permanently and something the public would hate to see.”
Rumours of a feud between the Cambridges and the Sussexes sparked in November last year, when Kensington Palace announced Meghan and Harry were moving out of Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace to relocate in Windsor.
In February, speculation regarding a formal division between the families were confirmed after Meghan and Harry were granted the right by the Queen to create their own household.
Meghan’s birthday post did not include any images of Prince Charles, Kate or the Queen.
