The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s next royal engagement was revealed by the Daily Mail’s royal correspondent, Rebecca English who stated: “The Duke of Sussex will attend Dr. Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots Global Leadership Meeting on July 23 at Windsor Castle.” However, it has not been revealed whether their two-month-old son Archie Harrison will attend the event. The event will be just a stone’s throw away from the couple’s home at Frogmore Cottage.
Dr Goodall is an English primatologist and anthropologist who has been studying chimpanzees and other primates for 55 years.
Her Roots & Shoots campaign focusses on bringing together youth from preschool to university age to work on environmental, conservation and humanitarian issues, according to Yahoo.
The campaign is likely to be close to the couple’s hearts who are touring Africa this autumn.
The Duke and Duchess’s first Sussex Royal Foundation initiative also focussed on conservation in the local community.

Dr Goodall’s campaign program began in Tanzania where she studied chimps.
Although the couple will not be visiting Tanzania but Botswana, South Africa, Malawi and Angola, the event is appropriate to their foundation.
Meghan and Harry attended the premiere of The Lion King in Leicester Square, London this week where Meghan met Beyonce and Jay Z.
Upon meeting at the premiere, in Leicester Square, Beyonce greeted Meghan with the words: “Hi, my princess,” a reference to her Brits acceptance video this year.
In February she and Jay Z pre-recorded their speech, with a painting of Meghan dressed as a princess, complete with a tiara and pearls, in the background.
The premiere is thought to be the first time Beyonce and Meghan have met in person, but Beyonce is a well-known fan of the royal, paying tribute to her on her website during the course of Black History Month.
The singer and her husband Jay-Z also offered the Royal Couple some valuable parenting tips last night, advising them to “always find time for themselves”.
Meanwhile, Beyonce has unveiled the music video for Spirit, her song featuring in Disney’s live-action remake of The Lion King.
