Doran brings over 20 years of experience as a Chief Information Officer, having led IT transformations in major financial services and other industries. Her previous roles include senior positions at NatWest, Capital One, and Royal Mail Group. Currently, she serves as a Non-Executive Director at ClearBank Limited, where she chairs the Board Risk Committee.

Robert Sharpe, Chair of Metro Bank, expressed confidence in Doran’s abilities, emphasizing her experience with banking IT systems. This appointment aligns with regulatory requirements under LR 6.4.6 and 6.4.8.
