Mich. Still Able to Pay Lottery Winner’s Food Stamps Despite Economy

COMMENTARY | Michigan’s economy is struggling, to put it mildly. Budget cuts, high prices and unemployment plague the state. Ironically, when one unemployed man, Leroy Fick, won $2 million in lottery money, he was told that he could continue to use food stamps, according to ABC World News. The mind boggles.
