Thames Valley Police is looking to recruit apprentices in Berkshire. As a PSCO, you will play an integral part in neighbourhood policing and providing a visible presence on the streets.

The ideal candidate needs to have a full driving licence, English Language or Literature and Maths at GCSE grade 9-4 or equivalent.

The job advert states: “Forget the stereotype – modern apprenticeships offer new opportunities to earn and learn for everyone from college leavers to career changers. As an apprentice PCSO your on-the-job learning will also be accredited with a Level 4 Diploma in Community Policing Practice.”

The job advert reads: “Based at our site in Bracknell, our Panel & Paint workshop team ensures our fleet of Waitrose vehicles remain well maintained and road-worthy.

“As a Panel Beater within the team, you’ll be working on a wide variety of vehicles from our small delivery vans right through to our large HGV lorries. Postperson with Driving – Royal Mail

Do you love the outdoors? Well, Royal Mail is seeking a postperson with a driving licence. It’s a physically demanding job, but it’s one that the nation relies on.

The successful candidate can expect to brace scorching summer heat and bitter chilly winter days as they deliver mail. As a postperson, you will spend between four and six hours delivering mail to people’s doors.

Royal Mail says a full driving licence is required, with no more than six penalty points, but a clean licence is preffered.
