Tahlia added: ‘This makes me so happy! Here’s to seeing more attainable, real bodies in lingerie on catwalks rather than a fantasy.’
The lingerie giant’s parent company, L Brands, confirmed the end of the holiday runway extravaganza in an earnings call on Thursday, four months after model Shanina Shaik leaked the news.
The decision was part of a move to ‘evolve the messaging of [the company],’ Fortune reported, and it seems like the lavish event is already on its way to becoming a relic of the past.

‘They weren’t eating and they were exercising four to five hours a day and they are not usually exercise people,’ the 30-year-old stated.
She added: ‘I know it from the inside out and it is complete bulls**t.’
Meanwhile in an interview with The St. George & Sutherland Shire Leader in 2015, Tahlia said she became a certified personal trainer in order to inspire other girls.
‘I don’t want girls looking at an unrealistic image that makes them think, “I have to be like that”,’ she told the newspaper.
‘It’s so important for girls to think of themselves positively,’ she added.
