Footage appears to show a grey BMW estate driving erratically on Deansgate in Manchester city centre at 5am. A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries
Shocking video footage seems to capture a driver recklessly aiming at pedestrians on Deansgate in Manchester.
The clip, which has been widely circulated on social media, shows what looks like a grey BMW estate car driving wildly on the main road in the early hours of this morning. A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
It’s believed he was injured after being hit by a vehicle. Greater Manchester Police confirmed no arrests had been made in relation to the incident.
The video appeared to show the car veering onto the wrong side of the road, with an individual tumbling nearby. The car then spins around, speeding through the junction with Bridge Street and running a red light.
Bystanders can be heard exclaiming ‘he’s going to kill someone’ and ‘stand out of the way’. The car then appeared to circle back to the same spot on Deansgate, crashing into some fencing before heading in the same direction again.

Several men attempted to open the car door before it speeds off. The car is then spotted approaching the junction with Bridge Street, before reversing back.
Although the car disappears from view briefly, a brawl erupted in the street.
The BMW reappears, once again driving against traffic on one-way Deansgate, reports the Manchester Evening News. Despite the incident occurring around 5am, the streets were bustling with party-goers enjoying one of the busiest nights of the festive season.
A representative for Greater Manchester Police stated: “Shortly after 5am we were called to reports of a disturbance on South King Street, in Manchester city centre.
“Emergency services attended and a 25-year-old man was taken to hospital with injuries which are not life threatening.
“If anyone has any information or footage of the incident, please contact Longsight CID on 0161 856 4259, quoting log 707 of 14/12/25.”
