Watch and luxury goods maker Montblanc has opened a new boutique in Belfast in partnership with Lunn’s.
he firm, which is best known for its pens and leather goods, is the latest standalone boutique to open at Queen’s Arcade in the heart of the city centre.
“We are excited about the future for Queen’s Arcade and will continue to invest to make it one of the premier shopping destinations in Ireland,” John Lunn, managing director, Lunn’s Jewellers.
The family-owned business is opening the separate showrooms for some of its leading watch brands. That also includes Omega, Breitling and Montblanc, along with a Gucci Watches and Jewellery store.
They will join the Lunn’s flagship store at Queen’s Arcade, along with the Rolex and Tag Heuer boutiques already there, following a major revamp of the arcade in 2019.
Last year Lunn’s revealed the expansion would see around 40 new roles being created.
Georgia Noutsi, brand director, Montblanc UK and Ireland, said: “Montblanc’s history began in Hamburg, one of the biggest commercial ports of the world, a city that shares with Belfast an international history and trade culture.
“As we expand and want to bring our stories closer to our customers, we partner with Lunn’s Jewellers to bring the Montblanc experience to Belfast.”
