MP praises a Fair Oak care home after visiting residents

Liz Jarvis visited Sunnybank House Care Home in Fair Oak on June 12 to meet staff and residents and learn about the care home.

She was given a tour of the home by general manager James Greene and deputy manager Jasmin Wheeler-Osman.

During the visit, Ms Jarvis said: “The extensive weekly groups and activities on offer are truly wonderful, offering choice and a warm welcome to all.

“It was a pleasure to meet so many residents, and I would like to extend my thanks to resident ambassador, Thelma, for taking the time to speak with me.”

James said: “We were delighted to welcome Liz Jarvis to our home.

“This was a great way for residents to feel connected to the wider community and for Jasmin and I to talk to her about our passion for the care home sector.”
