M&S shoppers snap up ‘flattering’ and ‘comfortable’ blazer that looks ‘more expensive than it is’

Marks and Spencer shoppers are loving a blazer that’s the perfect addition to your everyday edit, and especially for this season’s awkward weather. Both practical and stylish, it’s a great versatile piece that can easily be dressed up or down.

The popular Jersey Slim Single Breasted Blazer, retailing at £59, is available in sizes 6 to 24. It comes in ecru and black – although some sizes in certain colours are currently out of stock.

Crafted from breathable soft cotton-rich jersey, it’s cut in a flattering slim fit with a single-breasted fastening and smart lapels. It also features flap welt pockets at the front, and is designed with a pique texture for comfort.

“Lovely jacket, flattering fit and good length – one of best jackets I have ever bought”

For a casual but put-together look, you can add a denim maxi skirt, such as the £35 Denim Split Front Maxi Skirt from Marks and Spencer. The blazer has a 4.7 rating out of 98 reviews.

A very satisfied shopper wrote: “Great style, lovely fit and lined. Looks much more expensive than the actual price tag, really comfortable and very well made, love it!”

“This is a gorgeous jacket, it’s beautifully tailored, lined and comfortable. I think it’s versatile and the cream colour is perfect for spring/summer,” another added, while a third penned: “I love the look and fit of this blazer so much that I also bought it in cream.”

There has been very little criticism of the product, with the lowest rating being three stars, but some customers were disappointed by the lining: “The main complaint I have is that the lining inside the jacket and the sleeves is not the usual sarin fabric you get in jackets. It’s a nylon-type material, which is thin and static which means your arms don’t slide smoothly into the arms of the jacket.”
