Munson: Glimmer of hope in Ashton's appeal of its post office closure

The 458 residents of Ashton in northwest Iowa have won at least something of a moral victory in the fight to retain their post office and might serve as an example for the thousands of other communities nationwide fighting against the United States Postal Services waves of closures.
