The Supervisory Board of Austrian Post has appointed Barbara Potisk-Eibensteiner as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Austrian Post as of 1 January 2025. She succeeds Walter Oblin, who will become Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of the company on 1 October 2024.
Walter Oblin will continue his current responsibilities until she takes over. In addition, Peter Umundum, Chief Parcel & Logistics Officer, has been appointed as Deputy CEO.

As a long-standing member of the Management Board of various companies, she has extensive financial and management experience, enabling her to work together with the Management Board team of Austrian Post to ensure stability and promote further development and growth”, says Elisabeth Stadler, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Austrian Post.

She will be responsible for all financial functions as well as Group Real Estate, Group IT & Purchasing and Group Legal, and thus for key management and service functions. At bank99, she will take on an active Supervisory Board role with a focus on the finance and IT agendas.
