NEW PARTNER IS THE UK’S FAVOURITE SMALL VAN AS PEUGEOT MORE THAN DOUBLES E-LCV SALES | Peugeot

The new PEUGEOT PARTNER is the UK’s favourite compact van, while the new E-PARTNER is the UK’s favourite compact electric van. Sales success for the new E-PARTNER arose from strong results across the PEUGEOT electric van (e-LCV) range as the brand more than doubled sales.

PEUGEOT’s new LCV range was launched in 2024, and with it, the brand has gone from strength to strength, with particular success in the new e-LCV market. In 2024,  PEUGEOT increased its total van market share to 7.5% with 27,303 units sold and almost doubled its e-LCV market share with a rise of 9% from 9.5% in 2023 to 18.5% in 2024, almost a fifth of the total market.

Year-on-year, PEUGEOT’s e-LCV sales across the range have more than doubled to a total of 4,105 units in 2024. With the launch of its new electric van range and strong e-LCV sales, PEUGEOT has achieved 150% of its LCV Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) mandate target.

Alongside the best-selling new E-PARTNER, the number one compact electric van, PEUGEOT’s renewed electric van range also includes the new E-BOXER and E-EXPERT. The new E-EXPERT was a UK favourite in 2024 with 2,428 units sold, placing it as the second best-selling medium electric van, and third best-selling electric van for the whole e-LCV market.

PEUGEOT is a forward-thinking brand and is at the forefront of electrification in the UK, offering 12 all-electric vehicles including nine passenger cars and three e-LCVs, giving the brand the widest all-electric line-up of any mainstream European manufacturer.

PEUGEOT’s strength in the LCV market and momentous growth in electric van sales is directly linked to being a trusted fleet partner to businesses across the UK.  In 2024, PEUGEOT strengthened its long-term partnership with the Royal Mail by supplying 2,100 electric vans, including 1,100 new E-PARTNER vans, in addition to the vans already supplied as part of the ongoing partnership. PEUGEOT has been supplying vans to the Royal Mail since 2009 and electric vans since 2014. The new PEUGEOT E-PARTNER is manufactured at Ellesmere Port, the UK’s first EV-only volume manufacturing plant.

Eurig Druce, Managing Director, PEUGEOT UK, said: “In 2024, the new PEUGEOT E-PARTNER claimed the well-earned top spot as the UK’s best-selling e-LCV in its segment. On top of that, our e-LCV market share nearly doubled this year, a clear reflection of how well our new electric line-up is resonating with UK drivers. These achievements highlight our commitment to leading the way in electric vehicles. With the broadest all-electric range of passenger cars and vans among mainstream European brands, PEUGEOT is making it easier than ever for more people to embrace the future of driving.”
