When Ronnie Davis turned his key once, twice, then three times in a postal box VFW Post 5108 has rented for 30 years at the Marietta Post Office, he was visibly perplexed. “Doesn’t work,” he grumbled. “I pick up mail for the VFW, and it’s always worked before.” He soon noticed a lobby sign saying old keys needed to be exchanged for new ones.
