Newsweek: EBay to ban ivory sales (MSNBC)

Last night, eBay announced that as of Jan. 1, it will institute a global ban on ivory sales. According to a new report from the International Fund for Animal Welfare, the site is responsible for almost two-thirds of the online trade in wildlife products globally.
