Wizards, vampires and even Justin Bieber couldn’t catch the National Football League this past year, as the NFL topped the third annual eBay “Top Shopped Report.” According to the world’s largest online marketplace, 1,837,834 pieces of memorabilia were sold unde r the NFL keyword in 2011, prompting eBay to declare pro football the top pop culture obsession of the year.
