It may not help NBC’s ratings, but at least the Tour Championship means the regular PGA Tour season is ending. It’s probably not going to register very high on the grand scale of things, but the FedEx Cup race ends at this week’s $7-million Tour Championship, and the winner of the season-long competition is long since decided.
