Norfolk and Suffolk’s most festive street names

Royal Mail has revealed some of the country’s most festive street and house names.

Royal Mail has revealed that over 50,000 addresses in the UK keep that festive feeling going all year round.

They analysed over 31 million addresses to see what the impact the season of goodwill has had on naming our nation’s streets and houses.

Norwich was named the third most festive town or city, boasting 459 festive street and house names including ‘Angel Road’ and ‘Carol Close’

Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds also made the top 20 towns and cities with 168 and 157 festive names respectively.

The Royal Mail says there are over 250 ‘Christmas Cottages’ in the country, with some of the more unusal names including ‘Mince Pie Cottage’ and ‘Jingle Joys’.

The UK’s most popular street names included ‘Chestnut Avenue’, ‘King Street’, and ‘Holly Close’.
