‘Not a drive-through’ – Barnsley restaurant staff in shock as car takes wrong turn

Photos captured the car mounting the entryway to the Barnsley resteraunt

Staff at a restaurant in Barnsley were shocked to arrive at work to find a car had ploughed through the front gates of the restaurant.

Employees at the popular Brazilian Bar and Grill ‘Estabulo Rodizio Bar and Grill Barnsley’ joked that they did “not offer any drive-through services” after a blue car had left the road earlier today (February 28) and crashed through the restaurant’s entryway.

Photos show a blue car mounting what appears to be a staircase leading into the bar.

Posting to Facebook at around 12.45 pm, a staff member wrote to Facebook: “You can’t park there, mate! We know our unlimited steak Rodizio is tantalising, but please note that you have to park safely and walk to the restaurant rather than driving through the front door.”

Staff at the bar have since assured that no one was hurt, and that the beloved Barnsley eatery is still open with access through a side door.

An update given at 3.45 read: “Emergency workers are on the scene and have now removed the vehicle. We remain open whilst work is being done to rectify this. To confirm, we do NOT offer a drive-through service.”
